Dental Surgery

Dental surgery encompasses a range of procedures designed to address issues affecting the teeth, gums, and jaw. It includes tooth extractions, where a tooth is removed due to decay, damage, or other problems, and wisdom teeth removal, which often involves the surgical extraction of impacted third molars.
Dental implants involve placing a titanium post into the jawbone to serve as a replacement root for a missing tooth, followed by the attachment of a crown. Root canal surgery, or endodontic surgery, involves removing infected or damaged tissue from inside a tooth to save it from further infection. Gum surgery addresses issues such as gum disease and recession through procedures like flap surgery and gum grafting.
Bone grafting replaces or regenerates lost jawbone, often in preparation for implants. Oral pathology surgery involves removing and biopsying abnormal growths or lesions in the mouth for diagnostic or treatment purposes. Corrective jaw surgery, or orthognathic surgery, realigns the upper and lower jaw to improve function and appearance.
